Veep

VEEP
Cornish, medieval saint's name

Veep Origin and Meaning

The name Veep is a girl's name.

St Veeps is one of many delightfully-named villages in Cornwall dedicated to a local saint. Little is known about the real Saint Veep, except that she lived around the fifth century. Her name is also recorded as Wennapa and Gwennap, suggesting it derives from gwen, meaning "white". She is sometimes associated with one of the many children of Brychan Brycheiniog, a semi-legendary king of south Wales.

Is this usable as a baby name? Sadly it probably sounds too much like a car horn or diminutive of "Vice President".
