Jireh
About Jireh
Jireh is a spiritual name that has been rising significantly for both sexes in recent years, although still remains quite rare. Jehoveh-Jireh was the location of the binding of Isaac, where Jehovah told Abraham to offer his son Isaac as a burnt offering.
In spiritual contexts today, Jireh is a song performed by American contemporary worship bands Elevation Worship and Maverick City Music, ranking on the Billboards as the 4th biggest gospel song of 2022. Reading through the comments of the hit music video, you'll find countless parents' stories of how this song inspired them to name their own baby Jireh, representing hope and resilience.
Pronounced jir-AY.
As of October 2026, Jireh ranked #1862 in US births in 2025 SSA, peaked at #1673 in 2023.
