Ertuğrul

Famously the father of Osman I, founder of the Ottoman Dynasty. Ertuğrul is derived from the Turkish elements er, meaning "brave man," and tuğrul, a mythical falcon-like bird in Turkish and Hungarian legend, also known as a turul.
