My Boy!

Mason is an occupational surname that ranked among the Top 10 name for boys throughout the 2010s, after its choice as one of the first Kardashian baby names. It remained a Top 10 choice in the US until 2020 when it began trending downwards and a recent year saw it rank at #42, the lowest it's placed since 2005.
Borrowed from the English word for a stone maker, part of Mason's appeal was as a fresher-sounding replacement to dad name Jason. It likely then endured as a leader of the Jackson-Hudson-Grayson-Kayson trend, while also appealing to those who like other occupation names like Hunter, Cooper, and Carter and those who like that popular -n ending in general (think Logan, Sebastian, and Ethan).
Along with Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Dissick, Mason was chosen by several other celebrities for their sons, including Cuba Gooding, Jr., Melissa Joan Hart and Kevin Richardson. It has also seen use for celebrity baby girls, such as Kelsey Grammer's daughter, which did to some increased interest in Mason as a unisex option.
In fiction, the name has appeared on two TV werewolves: Mason Greyback on Wizards of Waverly Place and Mason Lockwood on Vampire Diaries. It is also used in the animated series Gravity Falls, in which it's the birthname of Dipper Pines, and in two popular Australian soaps, Neighbours and Home and Away.

A recent year saw Mason make the Top 30 name in the Netherlands and Canada, while in the UK, Australia, and New Zealand it remained in the Top 100.

This spelling of Brice relates the name to Utah's spectacular Bryce Canyon -- and is much more popular for both genders than the original Brice. Basketball's LeBron James named his son Bryce Maximus James, and in one of his early movies, John Cusack played a Bryce in Sixteen Candles.

Dane is a more masculine Dana alternative, with added style edge. Dane has been on the US Top 1000 for more than seventy years, having entered the list in 1945.
Dane makes a great middle name, as evidenced by January Jones' use of it for son Xander Dane.
