Talise

Talise is a feminine name with multiple possible origins. Some sources suggest it comes from Native American languages, particularly attributed to meanings like 'beautiful waters' or 'lovely water' in certain tribal languages. Others connect it to a derivative of the French name Thalia or as a modern invention inspired by names like Talisa or Alice. Talise remains uncommon in usage statistics, giving it a distinctive quality. The name has a refreshing, flowing sound that evokes natural imagery, particularly water. Its brief two-syllable structure makes it easy to pronounce while still feeling unique. Parents might choose Talise for its melodic quality and potential connection to nature themes.

Pronounced tuh-LEES.
