Nejlika

A pretty Swedish word name, Nejlika translates to "carnation", in reference to the pink, red, and white flowers that grow in sunny spots. The word is also used to refer to a shade of pink, the gillyflower, and to cloves (kryddnejlika). A rare choice, it had been given to just nine girls as of 2025.
