Ghazala

Also spelled Ghazalah, this name has connections to both animals and poetry. Derived from the Arabic ghazal meaning "gazelle", it is also associated with a poetry form with at least five rhyming couplets and with repeated and rhyming words throughout. Originating from 7th-century Arabia, the ghazal was popularized by the poet Rumi.
