Salote is a distinctive variation of Charlotte, used in Oceania, most notably in Fiji, Tonga, and Samoa. Also appearing as Sālote, it has been notably borne by Queen Sālote Tupuo III— the first and only ruling queen of Tonga and their longest ruling monarch. Additionally, it is also worn by her granddaughter, Princess Royal Salote Mafile'o Pilolevu, along with Fijian politician Salote Radrodo and footballer Salote Yaya.

Notably borne by the longest ruling Tongan monarch, Queen Sālote Tupuo III — who was also the first and only ruling queen — Sālote is the Tongan variation of classic Charlotte. Also spelled as Salote (and used in Fiji and Samoa), it is rarely heard outside of Oceania.
