Firouzeh, or Firuzeh, is the Persian term for turquoise and a feminine given name. It may also be considered a feminization of Firouz, which while also Persian in origin, has separate derivations and means "victorious".

Interesting on paper, though most people would confuse it with the word peruse.

Form of Firouzeh used in Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan. The Azerbaijani version is written with a dotted I, while the Tajik is not.
