Turi

This little-known Norwegian gem is a spelling variation of Turid — a popular name in 1940s Norway. With other Scandinavian choices such as Lumi and Juni heating up in the US, Turi could be an unexpected alternative.

Turi Widerøe became the first female commercial airline pilot in 1968.
