Preslee

Preslee is a modern feminine name that gained popularity in the early 21st century, following the trend of surname-inspired first names with contemporary spellings. The name appears to be a variation of Presley, which originated as an English surname meaning 'priest's meadow' or 'priest's clearing.' The double 'e' ending gives it a feminine touch while maintaining its contemporary feel. Preslee began appearing on baby name charts around 2010, influenced by the popularity of similar-sounding names and the trend of names ending with 'lee' or 'leigh.' The name carries associations of Southern charm and modern style, appealing to parents seeking something trendy but not overly common.

As of October 2026, Preslee ranked #1509 in US births in 2025 SSA, peaked at #1091 in 2012.
