Lycurgus Origin and Meaning

The name Lycurgus is a boy's name meaning "wolf work".

Lycurgus was the name of several mythological and legendary figures in Ancient Greece — a Spartan lawmaker and a king as well as the husband of Eurydice and a king who attacked Dionysus.

It's also the middle name of Elon Musk's 14th child, son Seldon Lycurgus — meaningful given that one legendary Lycurgus created a military society in Sparta through a series of reforms. He was reportedly worshipped as a God, which might be an aspiration of Musk's.
