Brími Origin and Meaning

The name Brími is a boy's name meaning "fire".

A sweet yet fiery name of Icelandic origin, ultimately from the Old Norse word for "fire". Though it is a rare choice, it was officially approved as a name in Iceland in 2010 meaning at least one baby has received it since then. It is slightly more popular in the form Brímir, though it shouldn't be confused with Brimir or Brimi, meaning "surf, surge" or "sword".
