I hate that they left out Taft. My great uncle was named after President Taft since he was born during his term in office. I named my little boy (born in 2008) Taft also.
I did’t want him to be in a class with a few children with the same or similar name (we have a Chase and a Jayce, as well as a Brayden and an Aide in his class). Taft is different but doesn’t sound made up. ;0

I am kind of obsessed with Grover, but don’t know if I would have the courage to use it. Quincy is great too. I also like Franklin and Grant.
Pam Says:
Kyetra, Taft is a great name!!! Don’t read anything negative into the fact that we “left it out” — too many wonderful presidential names to include, and it’s fantastic that it’s a family name with real meaning for you.

I’ve always loved Calvin, and I like Lincoln and Abraham. A friend of my families had a son who she named Abraham, and before he was born big sister Olive referred to him as “baby ham”. Too cute!

What about Reagan? That’s been one of my favorite’s for a while. From the list, I like Calvin, Lincoln, and Walker. I knew boys named Harrison and Jefferson in elementary school.
maggiemary Says:
I love Abram (and Abraham), Lincoln, Ulysses and Theodore.

Reagan seems to be turning into a unisex name!

Madison is a great one too! And Jackson…

Out of the names mentioned I love:
Quincy – so cute and retro.
Harrison – semi popular in the UK I really like it as a variant to the super popular Harry.
Harry – I love this name but even though I try not to care about popularity this is too popular in a predictable.
William – A lovely classic choice
Benjamin – again a great classic choice.
Henry – a wonderfully handsome choice.
Jackson – I love it!
Lincoln – Very cute.
Abraham – I really love this name and prefer this spelling/name to original biblical form Abram.
Also shout out to Vivienne I love it

I love all of these names with the exception of Chester because of a rhyme my mother told me: Chester, Lester, Child Molester. Not exactly the best association.
