    Yarrow for a girl

I have loved the name Yarrow (after the wildflower!) for a girl for awhile but am worried that it might be too hard to say? Also love the nickname Row/Roe! Would love to hear thoughts and opinions!

Yarrow is quite nice. I find it a tad harsh but Ro is cute

Yarrow is sweet! I personally see it more as a boys' name, but it works on a girl too.

I think it’s gorgeous for either sex. I’d be thrilled to meet a Yarrow!

Interesting name, haven't heard it before. I personally would go with Yara.

I've never heard it before, and I guess I'll be the voice of descent here so far, I'm not fond of it. To me it sounds like a mashup of Yellow+Arrow. Maybe as a middle?

I like Yarrow! It could definitely be useable. It's very boho which I love, and would age well.
It also made me think of Yara (Game of Thrones).

I agree the name Yarrow does sound a little harsh on its own, but with the nicknames "Row/Roe" and even "Yara" it would be cute. Another option would be to pair Yarrow with a more feminine name if you want to use the full name, to soften it a little. Using it as a middle name could also be a good alternative.
