    Kenna or McKenna?

If you met someone and they introduced themselves as Kenna, would you automatically assume their name was McKenna?

Would you give say your child the name McKenna or simply Kenna? Why/Why not?

Edit: Do you think Kienna could be an alternative to Kenna? Kienna like Sienna but with a K or is it weird?

If someone told me, her name is Kenna, I wouldnt think it is a nickname for something. It sounds fine on its own.

Both are pretty, but I prefer McKenna. I like Mc names in general, and I like to have more options with the name.

Sorry for my English. Its not my first language, and I try my best

I prefer Kenna by itself as I’m not a fan of mc names. Kenna is cute and suits all ages I think.

I wouldn't assume her name is Kenna. But I prefer McKenna. It sounds like a full name instead of just a nickname. Kenna to me sounds incomplete.

I prefer Kenna as a standalone name and I wouldn't assume it was short for anything

I'd go for McKenna because it's familiar to me. Even though I've only come across McKenna as a surname I wouldn't be surprised to hear it as a first name. Kenna on the other hand, I've never heard as stand alone name. I guess I'm not really feeling it. I might be because Kenna has a very short sound having two short vowels.

    Kenna alone is much nicer.
