Wilder

Though it hasn’t yet appeared in the Top 1000, Wilder is on many parents’ possibility lists, one of the new generation of bad boy names growing in popularity. Wilder got a big boost in interest through Goldie Hawn’s grandson via son Oliver, born in 2007. 

Wilder is more familiar as a surname, borne by such notables as authors Laura Ingalls and Thornton, composer Alex, director Billy, actor Gene, and Douglas Wilder, the first African-American to be elected Governor of Virginia.
