Julius
Immortal through its association with the ancient Caesar (it was his clan name), Julius may still lag behind Julian, but is definitely starting to make a comeback, and in fact feels more cutting edge, in line with the current trend for Latin ius-ending names.
A common Christian name in Roman times--as in Pope Julius I--it was rarely used in English speaking countries until the nineteenth century. Some Julius connections: basketball great Julius Erving--Dr. J, characters in the Artemis Fowl series and "Everybody Hates Chris" (as Dad), Groucho Marx's birth name, the comic monkey created by Paul Frank, and the orange Orange Julius drink.
