Since you are a geography student, you probably know that Cambria is the classical Latin name for the country of Wales. Unless a place has some personal significance for you, I'm not really a fan of place names myself. The only "Cam" name I like is Camille. I don't know any girl by the name but I've seen it mentioned every so often on the internet. It's too similar to the Toyota Camry car to give it much notice. You may also have come across these names.
England = Albion
Scotland = Caledonia
Ireland = Hibernia
Also, there is a province called Nova Scotia (or New Scotland).All the best,

Firstly, I would say it cam-bree-a with a short a sound. Secondly, I do not care for this name. It sounds too much like other things and is just a bit of a muddle really.[ Ingo Julius ][ Igor John ][ Rory Judd ]
