January 27th, 2014 08:17 PM #6
I love Madeline! I know so many amazing Maddie's/Maddy's! So the fact that I know people that I love with this name totally influences my opinion, but I think the nn Maddie is adorably. I like the Madeline spelling the most, but there are lots of other ways. Madelyn, Madalynn, Madeleine ect.
Beatrice Flora Jane, Clara Felicity Kate, Rosalie Linnea Tess, Alexa Coralie Eve, Emmeline Alaska Sophie,
Charlie Jay, Gideon Bruce, Henry Liam
Also searching for ways to include:
Adeline, Avalon, Eliza, Greta, Imogen, Isla, Leora, & Winnie.
Asher, Caleb, Edwin, Felix, Grant, Hugo, Lachlan, Ronan, Rhett, & Wyatt.

I love Madeline, especially spelled Madeleine. It is a common name, but all the Madeline's I've known have been wonderful people, which only makes me like it more. I also really like it pronounced with a long i (line instead of lynn). Emily and Madeline are wonderful together, imo. Both strike me as sweet and intelligent (probably because the people I know with names have had that personality).
