    Wedding songs?

I'm looking for cute songs for a wedding video or wedding playlist... I'm looking for sort of alternative songs, not the super popular ones, if that makes sense. Any genre is fine, I'm looking for everything! It seems like we get a good mix of people on these forums, so I'm excited to see what we can come up with. Any suggestions?

Examples of what I like (but seriously, any suggestions would be appreciated):
Such Great Heights - Postal Service
    Toothpaste Kisses - The Macabees
Home - Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros
    etc...

This is a great song for a father-daughter dance if you're going to have one. It's called Daughter of Mine, sung by John McDermott. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m31XIO9hmIc

I listen to mostly midcentury pop or folk and sometimes classical crossover but here are some romantic songs I like:
I'll Never Find Another You; Love Is Kind, Love Is Wine; The Carnival Is Over (great to end with- it was the closing song for the Sydney Paralympics)- The Seekers
    Kathleen- John McDermott
Amigos Para Siempre- Sarah Brightman and Josep Carreras
Vivo per Lei- Andrea Bocelli and Hayley Westenra
There's a Sparkle in Your Eyes- Helmut Lotti and Hayley Westenra
    Kalinka- Helmut Lotti (in Russian)
    Love Story- Andy Williams

Love songs and even soundtracks from your favourite movies are great since it'll be personal and have meaning to you. If there's a certain wedding scene from a movie or TV show you like, you can use the music from it when walking up the aisle.

    Favourite names:
Girls: Azalea, Cordelia, Elizabeth, Rosalind, Portia, Felicity, Juliet, Scarlett
Boys: Fitzwilliam, Sebastian, Percival, Prospero, Orlando, Darcy

I'm getting married next year so I've been deciding on wedding songs too

    Here's what we're using:
walking down the aisle: turning page by sleeping at last (haven't decided if we're gonna do just the instrumental or with words)
first dance: bring it on home by little big town
    father/daughter: wildflowers by tom petty

other songs that will definitely be played:
hey pretty girl by kip moore
gone gone gone by phillip phillips
    soulshine by allman brothers
in memory of elizabeth reed by allman brothers (this is my dad's absolute favorite song by his favorite band and he'll play it on bass for us)
pretty much anything by the band NEEDTOBREATHE
    wonderwall by oasis
why don't we just dance by josh turner
i love you by eli young band
    tiny dancer by tim mcgraw
i will wait by mumford and sons
    any song by ray lamontagne
hanging by a moment by lifehouse
in my life by the beatles
use somebody by kings of leon
    breathless by better than ezra
    emily by lady antebellum
somewhere only we know by keane
    sweet caroline

A lot of country but my dad's band is gonna play and they do a whole mix of rock songs too. We're not all about mushy love songs so we don't have many of those but a lot of them having meaning to us specifically. That's where I started, find all the songs that have meaning for you guys as a couple or with your families. I also found a lot of good playlists just by taking a gander around pinterest! One of my favorite wedding blogs has a lot too, it's called a practical wedding. Hope this helps, good luck!!
    My Favorites:

Colette Kristine. Alice Evanna. Gemma Elizabeth. Mabel Verity. Rosalie Grace.

Jack Jeffrey. Carson Luke. Felix James. Leo Patrick. River Justin.

For our first dance we had Home by Chantal Kreviazuk, which faded into Everything by Michael Buble. I consider both to be our first dance Both were very special to us and I like how one was slow and one was more upbeat and fun. No regrets, I'd choose those songs again in a heartbeat

Mama to Amelie Clara (2008) & Daisy Madeline (2013).

Alice Tallulah, Polly Matilda, Rosalie Faye, Lucy Annabel, Maya Lillian, Hazel Kate, Eva Blossom, Juliet Lila, Ivy Camille.
Charles Joshua "Charlie", Theodore Samuel "Teddy", Elliott Daniel, Noah Zachary, James Oscar, Arthur Philip, Rowan Isaac.
