As a heavy reader of mythology, I really do love Idony, at least in theory. The other posters have some points to consider. Even still, it makes a stunning middle name.

    (Also, I LOVE Vitalia!)

I knew an Idonnah who loved her name. I think Idony is beautiful and fits very well with your other girls' names.

My instinct would be to pronounce it ih-doe-KNEE. Idonnah pronounced her name Eye-Donna or uh-Donna and very few people had trouble with it.

I think it's a gorgeous name, but I liked the suggestion of spelling it Edonie. Or even Idonie. Also, Idony is very similar to irony. Gorgeous, but maybe has too many negative connections.

I think it's pronounced ih-DOE-nee. I like it. There's also Idonea (ih-DOE-nee-a). I believe they are both variations of Idunn.

I love it. I've been pronouncing it eye-donn-ee but here's more info on it: (please vote!)
