Kaedence

Kaedence is a variant of the musical word Cadence, which means rhythm/rhythmic or to march. Our daughter Kaedence Lynn was born in October 2012. I've had her name picked out for 25 years. Other variants are Cadence, Caedence, Caydence, Kadence, Kaydence, Kaidence
  1. Cadence
    • Origin:

      Latin
    • Meaning:

      "rhythm, beat"
    • Description:

The musical word name Cadence, seemed to come out of nowhere to zoom up the charts; it rose over 700 spots between 2002 and 2004, and showed up in the Top 200 in 2007. It's gone down in the popular names list since then, though. Some might see it as a feminine relative of the popular Caden. Kadence and Kaydence are also rising.
  2. Kadence
    • Origin:

      Variation of Cadence, word name
    • Description:

K-beginnings are often substituted for Cs, and this spelling is definitely finding favor with many parents, among them skateboarding legend Tony Hawk. However, sometimes the original is the best - we suggest sticking to the still unusual Cadence.
  3. KAEDENCE
    • KAIDENCE
      • Kaydence
        • Origin:

          Variation of Cadence, word name
        • Description:

We'd prefer to stick with the more-familiar Cadence and avoid the overly trendy Kay- prefix.
