Beautiful gentle boys

Names (some I may have made up;) that I think sound beautifully soft and perfect for a boy. So sick of hearing about boys names on girls and those male names then being refered to as 'unisex' ugh. So here are some names that are not 'girls' names, but are not exactly 'masculine' either. And I love them for a boy.
  1. Aspen
    • Origin:

      Nature and place-name
    • Description:

As trendy as the chic Colorado ski resort and film festival, Aspen is fast becoming more popular for girls than for boys, but this nature name would work equally well for either.
  2. Astala
    • Briarly
      • Caro
        • Origin:

          Italian
        • Meaning:

          "dear"
        • Description:

The meaning is endearing, but it also feels uncomfortably like a short form for Caroline. Its artistic reference is British sculptor Anthony Caro.
      • Cadence
        • Camille
          • Cassie
            • Evelyn
              • Origin:

                English
              • Meaning:

                "desired; or water, island"
              • Description:

Renowned English author Evelyn Waugh pronounced his name "EEV-lin" (fun fact: his first wife, also named Evelyn, was referred to as "She-velyn"). But "EV-uh-lin" also works, and is probably the most familiar pronunciation of the name today.
            • Fifer
              • Origin:

                Scottish occupational name

                "piper"
              • Description:

This musical choice fits right in with all the new hard-working Millers and Gardeners. It's also a Scottish demonym, referring to an inhabitant of the historic Scottish county of Fife.

                    "the merry one"
                  • Description:

Joss hadn't been heard much in this country before the emergence of Joss (born Joseph) Whedon, creator of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, et al; it would make a catchy middle name choice. Female British singer Joss Stone was born Jocelyn.
