I saw a Harlen the other day. A little boy about 5/6 years old. It was said 'Har-Len' so how I spelt it. He had a brother but I couldn't catch his name ....I tried very hard too! I know a Arlen but haven't seen or heard Harlen before.

I already posted this on the "lost names" thread, but I thought these might be appropriate on here as well:

While reading Mary Shelley's "Frankenstein", I came across the name Safie (which I believe is pronounced: Suh-fee) and I was thinking this could be a nice Sophie alternative.

I also met a guy named Truitt recently. He was more of a laid back skater guy, but his name seemed preppy to me. It would probably fall into the first-name-that-sounds-like-a-last-name group...

I met a little girl named Beckett today. I love the name Beckett, but always thought of it as a boys' name.

My friend is babysitting siblings tonight - Noah (boy) and Cedar (girl). The latter is very unusual in the UK, but a name that I love seeing on others' kids, more so male but I like it on a girl too
