    Re: Surname is Watts

Hi there! I think Watts is a great last name! :-)

Judy: I'd go with Judith, using Judy as a nickname. :-) Judith isn't for me, but that's just me. :-)

    Judith Rosalie Watts
    Judith Ivy Watts
    Judith Rafaela Watts
    Judith Mariel Watts

Florence: I really like Florence and Flora. Florence Watts sounds like Florence Swats, though, so I'd personally go with Flora.

    Flora Clementine Watts
    Flora Genevieve Watts
    Flora Josephine Watts
    Flora Lillian Watts
    Flora Winifred Watts

Violet: I think Violet is lovely, but a lot of your other names go better with Watts.

    Violet Katherine Watts
    Violet Evangeline Watts
    Violet Esme Watts

Maggie: I think Maggie is a great nickname for Margaret, but I think Maisie and Daisy are even better!

    Mabel: I really like Mabel!

    Mabel Clementine Watts
    Mabel Evangeline Watts
    Mabel Josephine Watts

Daisy: A great nickname for Margaret!

Dolores: I'm really sorry, but I don't care for Dolores. Lola is a cute nickname, though! What about Dorothy?

Simone: I really love Simone, but for some reason, I'm not liking it with Watts.

Eliza: I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Eliza!

    Eliza Clementine Watts
    Eliza Josephine Watts
    Eliza Genevieve Watts
    Eliza Katherine Watts
    Eliza Mabel Watts
    Eliza Daphne Watts
Eliza Winifred Watts (only if you're a fan of double W's, though!)

Elladora: I've not heard this name before, but it feels too "invented" to me. What about Isadora or Eleanora?

Enid: I'm not a fan of Enid. :-( What about Edith?

Lilith: I like Lilith, but I'm having a hard time saying it with Watts. What about Lillian?

    Ivy: Ivy's okay...

    Ivy Simona Watts
    Ivy Isadora Watts
    Ivy Lillian Watts
    Ivy Ramona Watts

Myrtle: Whenever I hear Myrtle, I can't help but think of Girdle. :-(

Dilys: I do like this name, but names ending in S make Watts sound like Swats.

    Other names you may like:
    Lillian
    Hazel
    Clover
    Helena
    Georgiana
    Mirabel
    Dorothy
    Edith
    Isadora
    Clementine
    Celia
    Cordelia (nn Cora)
    Viola
    Esme
    Ramona
    Genevieve
    Josephine
    Eleanor/Eleanora
    Daphne

I really love so many of your names, but I'm going to pick Eliza as my favorite. :-) I think names with three and four syllables sound fantastic with Watts.

    Best wishes to you!

Thanks so much for taking the time to reply!!! I loved reading your ideas. I never thought of the 's' at the end of the name - but it seems so obvious now! You are so spot on with some of your other observations. For example - Simone is a name after my friend, rather than I name I actually 'love' so it does not seem to flow as well as the others. I love Winifred Watts - that was actually on my list but I forgot to add it! I also wanted 'Ware' as a middle name if possible (after my grandad) - so that also seems to fit with your ideas! Thanks again.... I am going to have another read of your reply now! x

The actress Naomi Watts' name sounds so pretty! I love that name. I think Watts sounds nice with a first name that has at least three syllables.
    Iona Watts
Gemma Watts - Gemma only has two syllables, but I like it with Watts.
    Simona Watts
    Serena Watts
Hermione Watts nn Hermie Watts - this is really cute!
    Daphne Watts
    Laurenza Watts
    Calandra Watts nn Callie Watts
Theresa Watts nn Tessa Watts or just plain Tessa Watts
    Rosalind Watts or Rosamond Watts
Lorelei nn Rory Watts - like Gilmore Girls
    Georgiana nn Georgie Watts
    Genevieve Watts
Marseilles (Mar-SAY) Watts - thought of this place name the other night. Different.
Dolores Watts nn Lola Watts - I know, Dolores is out of style, but I love it!
    Philippa nn Pippa Watts
    Melina Watts

I really like Iona, Hermione, and Daphne.

    Re: Surname is Watts

Hi Dinks! I was thinking about your names today, and I realized that names ending in TH make Watts sound like Thwatts to me!

Also, if you wanted to use the name Ware (or the names ending in S or TH), I was thinking you may consider using two middle names to improve the flow of Ware and to hide the Swatts and Thwatts. :-)

    For example:

    Viola Ware Evangeline Watts
    Eliza Dilys Evangeline Watts

I also want to suggest Henrietta Watts (nn Hattie). :-)

    Re: Surname is Watts

    Judy- a little boring
Florence- i can't decide if I like it or not, I think so.
Violet- love Violet, but with Watts, all I think of is ultraviolet light.
Maggie- great as a nn for Margaret
Mabel- one of my faves! SO cute!
Daisy- again, great as a nn for Margaret, maybe you should consider Margaret, because then you'd have both : )
Dolores- Like it for nicknames Doe and Lola. Hmm, at first I didn't like it, but the more I think of it, it's really growing on me. Dolores Watts sounds cute to me!
    Simone- I really dislike Simone
    Eliza- LOVE.
Elladora- looks made up, but it does have a pretty sound.
    Enid- nah
Lilith- I prefer Lilac or Liliana
Ivy- I used to HATE Ivy, but now I really love it. Something so sweet and pretty about her.
    Myrtle- no
    Dilys- really no.

So my favorites are Mabel, Dolores, Eliza, Margaret, and Ivy.

    Mabel Watts
    Dolores Watts
    Eliza Watts
    Ivy Watts
Margaret Watts nn Maggie Watts or Daisy Watts

Ok, I think these are all nice with you last name, but I think I love Dolores nn Lola Watts, and Ivy Watts the most. As for middle names, would you like to use names on this list, or do you have family names to use, or just looking for something that sounds nice? I'll pretend you're looking for something that sounds nice.

    Ivy Elizabeth Watts
Ivy Mae Watts or Ivy May- I think it sounds good, but maybe doesn't look right. I think Ivy needs a long middle name.
    Ivy Katherine Watts
    Ivy Cordelia Watts
    Ivy Evangeline Watts
    Ivy Georgiana Watts
Ivy Caroline Watts- this would be my pick, I really like it!
    Ivy Coraline Watts
    Ivy Annabelle Watts
    Ivy Isabella Watts
    Ivy Delphine Watts

    Dolores Pearl Watts
    Dolores Faye Watts
Dolores Mae Watts- so vintage and sweet!
    Dolores Clover Watts
    Dolores Amelie Watts
    Dolores Emily Watts
Dolores Elodie Watts- this is my favorite!
    Dolores Melody Watts
    Dolores Ivy Watts
Proud mama to two sweet boys:

    Dashiell David Rowe
    and
    Flynn William Warfield
