    middle name help for Ezri

Thanks for all your help on a previous post for our girl. I think we are decided on Ezri...but now I don't like the middle name I have, which was Frances (after 2 grandmothers). I don't think her name would "look" feminine enough.
Here are some ideas...any opinions? We also really wanted to use a family name for a middle name but there aren't many that we also actually like.

Family name ideas that could maybe work.
    Ezri Elizabeth
Ezri Francine (does that sound better than using Frances?)
    Ezri Beth
    Ezri Anne
    Ezri Jo

    Others that I just like:

    Ezri Joy
    Ezri Amelia
    Ezri Taliah

I'm really diggin the name Ezri; cool choice!

Ezri Elizabeth--could be nice, but watch out for what the initials spell, as in EEK or EEL etc.
Ezri Francine (does that sound better than using Frances?) I actually think that Ezri Frances sounds better--something about the repeated eee sound (Ezreee Franceeen) isn't jiving with me
Ezri Beth--sounds nice, but I think that middle names are generally where you slip in something with a lot of character. Then again, the first name you chose has lots of character so maybe you want a tamer middle...
Ezri Anne--I would say that more than 50% of the women I know have the middle name Anne
Ezri Jo--I think that these two have totally incongruous feels. Ezri is so avant guard and then Jo makes really down home, too homey for my tastes, actually.

    Others that I just like:

Ezri Joy--not in love with the sound
Ezri Amelia--Amelia is really becoming overused.
Ezri Taliah--I think this is my favorite definitely. Two quite cool names; nice lilt, compatible styles--I really hope you choose this one!

Ezri Elizabeth: I love Elizabeth, but not with Ezri. Ezri's exotic flair calls for something more, well, exotic or with that old time appeal.

Ezri Francine (does that sound better than using Frances?): I prefer Frances, but LOVE Francesca with Ezri. Ezri Francesca is lovely! :-)

Ezri Beth: Beth is pretty dated, and just doesn't go with Ezri.

Ezri Anne: I love Anne, but it just isn't working with Ezri.

Ezri Jo: Ditto. Ezri Josephine, on the other hand, is great!

    Others that I just like:

Ezri Joy: I'm not a fan of Joy, but it does work with Ezri.
Ezri Amelia: Something just seems off.
Ezri Taliah: Ezri Talia is lovely.

Of the above, Ezri Francesca gets my vote!

    Ezri Avalon
    Ezri Alaina
    Ezri Anneliese
    Ezri Adelia
    Ezri Beatrice
    Ezri Delphine
    Ezri Delilah
    Ezri Elaina
    Ezri Francesca
    Ezri Florence
    Ezri Gabriella
    Ezri Gabrielle
    Ezri Hollis
    Ezri Ilana
    Ezri Josephine
    Ezri Juliana
    Ezri Juliette
    Ezri Liliana
    Ezri Leonora
    Ezri Marisol
    Ezri Ophelia
    Ezri Shoshanna
    Ezri Tamsin
    Ezri Tatiana
    Ezri Viviana
    Ezri Violet

    Good luck!

Love the advice! Some of you are scary good at describing why or why not names go together....you say it so well. How do you get this skill?? I guess I am glad there's Nameberry to help me out. Really like Francesca idea, and I guess I could still use Frances. Hmmmmm.....

Love Ezri Francesca and it does a nice job of honoring family whilst remaining feminine and unique.

I also love Jill's suggestion of Ezri Avalon. Stunning!
Proud mama to Lucia Marie (3) and Halle Regina born July 12th!
