    Re: SUGGESTIONS WANTED!

    ADELINE - this is pretty
    SCARLETT - so is this!
JULIETTE - I would spell it Juliet
BRYNN - I don't really like it that much but I am biased because I love more classic names
    TYLER - ditto
HAYDLEY - I would spell this Hadley
    SERENA - very pretty
BRAYLEE PRONOUNCED B-RAY-LEE - I've got to say, all I can think of is a donkey! Sorry! :^)
    KENNEDY - biased again
SAVANNAH - I usually don't like trendy names, but this has a pretty sound.

PLEASE TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK AND IF POSSIBLE SOME OTHER OPTIONS, THANKS![/quote]

ADELINE- love the name, its a classic. it is also on its way back up popularity wise
SCARLETT- another lovely old fashioned that is fun and interesting
JULIETTE- a great name, but i like the traditional juliet spelling better
BRYNN- i like this name, to me its a strong girl name
TYLER- far too trendy, especially since its for boys
HAYDLEY- is this supposed to sound like hadley?
SERENA- a name i have always loved, it just reminds me of gossip girl now
BRAYLEE PRONOUNCED B-RAY-LEE- not a big fan, a little too unusual for me
KENNEDY- a little too trendy for me
SAVANNAH- also lovely, but a bit too trendy.

my favs would be Serena and Juliette

    Re: SUGGESTIONS WANTED!

I just wrote a long message, but it never appeared! I'll try again!

ADELINE: A lovely, classic, and elegant name...

    SCARLETT: Another beautiful classic!

    JULIETTE: Yet another!

BRYNN: I'm not a fan of Brynn, but wouldn't mind seeing it as a middle name (Scarlett Brynn/Juliette Brynn).

TYLER: It's too trendy for a boy (and dated, circa 1980's), and I don't care for it (or any boy name) on a girl.

HAYDLEY: As Melissa wrote in your other thread, it's a confusing combination of Haley and Hadley, and your daughter will spend her life correct people's confusion. ("No! It's HAYDley, not HAYley!")

SERENA: I don't care for Serena (it's just not my style), but it is a lovely name.

BRAYLEE PRONOUNCED B-RAY-LEE: Bray is a sound a donkey makes, and the lee ending is very trendy, so I'd stay away from this one. Invented names (and "yooneek" spellings) such as Braylee aren't creative or unique, but trendy and not very classy. There are many, many existing names that will serve your daughter well! :-)

KENNEDY: I'm not a fan of surnames as first names, and I'm especially not a fan of Kennedy, which I believe means "deformed head."

SAVANNAH: It's too trendy for me, but it's a beautiful name.

Adeline, Scarlett, and Juliette (I prefer Juliet) are my favorites from your list, with the made-up names at the bottom.

You like a mix of classic and trendy names, so here some more suggestions:

none of them are weird, but here are my opinions:
ADELINE- i like this & adelaide too & addy
SCARLETT- very pretty, but i can't think of a good nickname
JULIETTE- my favorite of the whole list! BEAUTIFUL!
    BRYNN- simple and cute
TYLER- cute for a girl. it did boom in the 80's/90's as a boy name, but i think it would be cute on a girl now
HAYDLEY- i don't really like it, but i like hadley, hallie, hailey.
SERENA- it's pretty, but i'm more into sabrina or sabine
BRAYLEE PRONOUNCED B-RAY-LEE- this one reminds me of haydley, i don't really like it, but bradley, brady or brodie could be cute on a girl.
KENNEDY- cute, but like scarlett i can't think of a good way to shorten it.
SAVANNAH- this name isn't my taste. i generally don't like place names and i've never been to savannah so i don't know if the place is nice or whatever so it's hard to decide how i feel about it as a name!

ADELINE - very pretty. I personally like Adelina, Adele, Adela, Adalet, and Ada more, but a lot of people love this and it is pretty. I love the nn Addy.
SCARLETT - another name that a lot of people love. I don't love it (prefer Charlotte and Violet, personally), but there's absolutely nothing wrong with it, and it's a very pretty and striking name. I think you could use Carly, Lettie, and maybe even Ari for it.
JULIETTE - LOVE this spelling/variation. It's not a huge favorite among most people, but I love its French flair. As far as Jul- names are concerned, I prefer Julia, but Juliette is a very close second for me.
BRYNN - Bryn (this spelling) is originally a Welsh boys' name, and from what I'm told, it's still seen as a strong boys' name in Wales. I actually love Bryn on a boy, so I'm not a fan of this at all, but most people love it and I can see why its popular.
TYLER - Sorry, this is way too masculine imo to ever see it used on a girl. I don't really see the appeal, especially when you have really girly options like Juliette, Serena, Scarlett, and Adeline on your list?
HAYDLEY - this looks like you combined Hadley and Hayden to me. I would stick with one or the other. I like Hadley a lot, though--I think it's really cute.
SERENA - LOVE Serena. It's a recent love for me. I think Juliette and Serena would be adorable for sisters, btw!
BRAYLEE PRONOUNCED B-RAY-LEE - Not a fan. There are so many -aylee names out there, some legit, some not, and it's just really trendy right now (Kaylee, Baylee, Haylee, Raylee, Zaylee, Jaylee, Naylee, Maylee, and there are probably a million others). I think a lot of people are going to pick up on the donkey-braying association and run with it. You have much better options here, imo.
KENNEDY - not a fan, either. It just feels very masculine to me, even though I know there are many Kennedy girls out there.
SAVANNAH - this is a bit trendy and it has been popular for a while now, so I think it'll be dated soon. It is really cute, though, and I love its nicknames--Ava, Anna, Annie, Vannah, even Savy/Savvy...

Don't have time for other suggestions (sorry!) as I'm about to fly out the door, but I really like Serena, Scarlett, Adeline, and Juliette (especially Juliette and Serena!) from your list.

    Good luck!
