Names similar to Nathan and Leah?

I'm expecting twins in May and I need some help finding the right names... I have a 4 yr. old Nathan Thomas, and a 2 yr. old Leah Grace. We're choosing to keep the sexes of the babies a surprise, so I need boy and girl suggestions. We'd like to keep to a similar, rather conservative, classic style. Both our children have Biblical names, and while I love that, it's not a requirement for the next two. Any ideas?

Thanks! Here are a few I like...

Thanks so much for all the suggestions - many of them were actually names I've already thought about! Here are some of my favorites:

    Gracie
    Hannah
    Natalie
    Hope
    Zoey
    Aubrey
    Ruby
    Cara
    Paige
    Kate
    Norah

    Andrew
    John
    Gideon
    Joel
    Caleb
    Joseph
    Colin
    James
    William

My top favorites: Hannah, Natalie, Aubrey, Cara, Hope, Andrew, John, Joseph, Colin

I like James and Ruby alot also... but both are names of my cousin's babies so I think they're kind of out :(

What do you think of these names? Any combinations that you think would work well?

Re: Thanks! Here are a few I like...

Gracie - I would use the full name Grace with the nickname Gracie
    Hannah
    Natalie
    Hope
Zoey - this is classic spelled Zoe.
    Aubrey
    Ruby
    Cara
    Paige
    Kate
    Norah

    Andrew
    John
    Gideon
    Joel
    Caleb
    Joseph
    Colin
    James
    William

My top favorites: Hannah, Natalie, Aubrey, Cara, Hope, Andrew, John, Joseph, Colin

Do you think maybe Natalie is too similar to Nathan? They both start with Nat. But I love the name Natalie so much!

    Natalie and Andrew
    Natalie and Joseph
    Natalie and John
Natalie and Colin (Colin can stand alone or be a nickname for Nicholas which is one of my faves.)
    Hannah and Joseph
    Hannah and Caleb
    Grace and Andrew
    Norah and Colin
    Hope and John
    Zoe and Colin

    Natalie and Katherine nn Kate
    Hope and Grace
    Hannah and Dinah
    Aubrey and Zoe

    Joshua and Caleb
    Andrew and Colin -so cute!
    Andrew and James
    James and John

I don't care for the name Aubrey. I like Audrey better. But I know someone I don't like very much named Aubrey, so I may be biased. The same goes for Cara-I know someone dreadful with that name.

Re: Thanks! Here are a few I like...

GracieSo lovely! Feels right with Nathan and Leah. I would use as a nn for Grace though.
HannahA little too popular for me personally, but still a very pretty name.
NatalieLove Natalie, but not sure if the -lee sound at the end might be a tongue-twister with the -lee sound at the beginning of Leah. It also seems similar to Nathan.
    HopeSweet and trim!
ZoeyI like Zoey, but not as much as some of your other choices (would also spell it Zoe)
AubreyCute, but it still sounds unisex to me. I think Audrey might be a better fit with Leah and Nathan (Audrey feels like more of a classic).
RubyVery cute, a bit more trendy than your other names
    CaraI think I prefer Norah
    PaigeNot my favorite
    KateI love Kate!
    NorahAnother favorite!

AndrewA handsome classic, fits with your other children's names very well (love Drew as a nn)
JohnI never tire of John! Also very handsome.
GideonLike but don't love for some reason.
    Joelprefer Joseph
CalebGoes well with Nathan and Leah, but I like some of your other choices more
    JosephLove!
    ColinCute, but don't love it.
    JamesLove!
WilliamLove! One of my favorite classic names.

    Combos:
Grace + Andrew (Gracie + Drew, too cute! Definitely my favorite)
    Audrey + William
    Norah + John
    Kate + James

Grace + Norah (so pretty together)
    Hope + Kate
    Audrey + Natalie

    Andrew + Joseph
John + William (love these together)
    James + Andrew

Re: Names similar to Nathan and Leah?

These are such thoughtful and detailed suggestions! And the twin puzzle is always so much fun. The one thing I want to add is that I do think Natalie is too similar to BOTH Nathan and Leah -- it's no wonder you love it so much! But it does cross boundaries with both names, as if you had children named Joseph and Anna and then named the third Joanna. A no-no

Re: Thanks! Here are a few I like...

Gracie: I love Gracie as a nickname, but not as a name in and of itself. Grace is lovely!

Hannah: I adore Hannah, and loved it before it was popular. It's still as gorgeous as ever, but Hannah's popularity makes me look to other names first.

    Natalie: What Pam said!

Hope: I LOVE Hope! It's the perfect mixture of elegance and simplicity, and not a name one hears every day.

Zoey: I only care for the ZOE spelling. Zoe is a great name, but doesn't fit with Nathan and Leah.

Aubrey: It's still a man's name to me, and is too trendy for my taste. As Susan suggested, Audrey would be lovely.

Ruby: I love Ruby, but it's out of the running for you due to your relatives!

Cara: I don't care for Cara, but I love Cora. Cara feels too trendy and unsubstantial to me.

Paige: Too trendy for Nathan and Leah's sister!

    Kate: A great name!

Norah: I'm really starting to like Norah, but whenever I see the "h," I think I'm looking at a typo. It's just me, but I prefer Nora (and as a nickname for Eleanor).

    Andrew: I really love Andrew!

John: A classic, but one that doesn't do much for me as a first name...

Gideon: No words can express my love of Gideon!

Joel: I'm not a fan of Joel, but I love Joseph.

Caleb: Another great choice, although it feels overused to me.

    Joseph: Ah, here's Joseph!

    Colin: Love this one, too....

James: What a handsome, classic name...

    William: Ditto!

Of your girls' choices, Hope and Kate are my favorites, although Hannah would be at the top of the list if not for her popularity.

From the boys' names, I'm rooting for Gideon, William, Andrew, and Joseph, with James and Colin not far behind.

    Grace and Hannah
    Hope and Kate
    Grace and Kate
(Stay away from Hope and Grace!) :-)
    Grace and Nora
    Nora and Hope
    Nora and Kate
    Hannah and Nora

    Andrew and James
    Andrew and Joseph
    Gideon and Colin
    Gideon and Joseph
Gideon and Caleb (I love this one!)
    Gideon and James
    Andrew and Colin
Andrew and William (but you lose the Biblical feel....)
    William and Colin (ditto)

    Grace and Joseph
    Grace and Andrew
Grace and James (I love it!)
    Hannah and Gideon
    Hannah and Joseph
    Hannah and Caleb
    Kate and William
    Kate and James
    Nora and Joseph
    Hope and James
    Hope and Gideon
    Hope and Andrew
(Stay away from Will and Grace!) :-)

Hannah Kate/Hannah Katherine and Joseph Gideon
    Hannah Grace and Gideon James
    Grace Katherine and Andrew James
    Nora Grace and William James
    Hope Katherine and Andrew Colin

    Best wishes!
