    Honoring the name 'Betty'

My grandmother's fn was Betty, I would love to honor her and thought about using Elizabeth to honor her....would this work? It would be as a middle name, Rose Elizabeth. The only problem becomes is that I also want to honor my mom...her first name is Beverly and her middle name is Jo. So assuming I have twins, and they were both girls, what would you suggest as a way to honor my mom and a sister to Rose Elizabeth.
Also what are your thoughts on Rose Elizabeth? (If we had a son his name would be Charles Martin-Charles after a friend of my husband's that passed away and Martin is my maiden name). Thanks!

    Re: Honoring the name 'Betty'

Hi! Rose Elizabeth is actually my favorite name in the world, and it's what I plan to name my daughter someday. :-) I think it's a gorgeous name, and as Betty is a nickname of Elizabeth, it's a perfect choice for you.

For Rose's potential twin sister, I think your mom and grandma could be honored with Josephine Bevin (a Scottish name).

    Best wishes!
