Mira? Cadence? ugh, and so it goes on!

I love Mira... Dh loves Cadence, but wants to spell it Kaidance or Kadance (has a problem with the 'dence' part)
So, let's just say I throw the names away, wdyt is a good sibset with her big brother Rhys?

**after reading the last two replies, I should have mentioned that dh isn't really into Welsh/Irish/Celtic names. I too love Bronwyn and Anwen. But, it's a no go with him. He likes Rhys strickly for how it sounds and not so much where it comes from. Our dd's name is Jocelyn Anneliese... I should have mentioned that also.

We really like names from most naming styles. It really just has to be cute on a baby, cool on a young lady and sophisticated on a woman. MNs we're considering are Sophia, Elizabeth, Blair, Willow or Viola. Other names we've considered are Amelia, Arianna, Leila, Hayden, Harlow (until it became celeb), Olivia, Eden, Eversen, Gemma...etc. (uh huh, aaaall over the board)

Rhys is a Welsh name. My favorite Welsh names for girls are Anwen, Ailsa, Arwen, Gwynneth, and Cordelia. Irish girls' names would be pretty with Rhys, too: Maeve, Bryony, and you can find more on the Irish hot list under "hot lists". I also like Margaret nn Maisie, Eleanor nn Nell, Jessamine, Annika, Catriona, Audrey, and Flora with Rhys.

I'm not a big fan of respeelings either. Smart move to toss both out and start fresh!
With Rhys, off the top of my head:

    Elspeth
    Bronwen
    Gwyneth
    Niamh/Neve
    Carys
    Anwen
    Blythe
    Oona
    Iona
    Isla
    Nora/Eleanor
    Cecilia/Celia
    Lilias
    Roisin (ro-sheen)
    Mina
    Bridget
    Clara
    Maeve
    Margaret/Maisie/Daisy
    Lucy

Completely random, I know but I hope it helps!

Both you girls are on the right track as far as I'm concerned... Isla, Anwen, Bronwyn, Cecilia, Carys (already being used in the family), Neve, Siobhan.... I've swung them all by the dh and he turns his nose up. I revamped my opening post to clarify a bit more.

Jocelyn is such a classic, elegant name; and Rhys so handsome! Of the names mentioned, I think Isla is my favorite. :) You might also consider Fallon, Lila (nn for Elizabeth?)or Tamsin.
