Tell us some of the most interesting names in your family background: which of your ancestors had the funniest name, the oddest name, the name that would sound most trendy now, the most uncommon name, the ugliest name, the one that would sound the most vintage now, the name no one has ever heard before, the name that sounds the most like a currant celebrity baby, etc. (Feel free to make up your own categories!) For example,

Retro-hip prize: Otis, Frank, and Leo - three of my great-grandfathers
Cooler than coolator prize: Grady - paternal grandfather (my sister has had dibs on this name for years)
Classic and lovely prize: Pauline, Marcella - various great-aunts
Sassy twins prize: Ruth and Ruby - grandmother and her twin
Classy twins prize: Richard and Raymond - uncles, sons of Ruth
Runners up: Elizabeth, Mary, Lena, Hilda, and Rose - given as first or middle names to multiple generations, mostly on maternal side

Gosh, I hope I don't remember some fantastic family name after I post this.
Anybody think my maternal grandmother's name, Marjorie, is due for a comeback, or has Marge Simpson marked it for all time?

Oh, hold on to your hats! Kingfish, W (That is his name, not an initial), Roy, Bertie, Eulala, D'wahl (I think - that's how it's pronounced), Butch, H. Maxwell (again, not an initial), Harley, Pinkie and Pudding (twins). I could go on, but I think that's enough.
