    I like the combo Theodore Matthew Elias, and love the nickname Todd! I think it totally works, but that might just be because I new a Theodore 'Tod' growing up. I think you did a great job at incorporating both honors for Dorothy and Todd, good work!

    I have never liked Ted as a nn for anyone and I absolutely loathe Teddy as too childish. But Todd is in Theodore. I did vote for Todd as I love the name, but Theodore is lovely too and is the same as Dorothy/Dorothea. Don't forget Theodora is just the reverse of Dorothea/Dorothy.

    @asherose I agree. Ted has never been my favorite nn for any name. Though I think Teddy is cute as a baby/child, it often progresses into Ted as an adult.

    Thank you everyone. I am finding I love Theodore Matthew Elias nn Todd more and more. Your thoughts have been much appreciated and helped me in deciding which direction to go.
