    Rachel, Rachael, or Raechel?

I recently met someone named Raechel, and I can't stop thinking about this spelling. What are your thoughts on the name?

I prefer just simple Rachel. The others look a tad fussy to me

Rachel is best. The rest just feel over-complicated.

In theory, you can spell a name however you like. In practice, nobody else will and misspellings will be common.

Rachel is the nicest, most straightforward spelling for sure.

Raechel looks really awkward to me and Rachael looks heavily influenced by Michael - both would be misspelled often, I think.

Funny, I think Rachael is pretty common, at least in my area. That is my preference.

I don't like Raechel at all, but I thought it was interesting and new (at least to me).

I prefer the spelling Rachel. The others are look bizarre to me when they're written out, and they sound the same when they're said aloud, so I don't personally see the appeal.
If you're looking for a way to get to the nickname Rae, I know a girl who's name is Rachelle, and she goes by Rae. Plus I mean Rae or can come from the standard Rachel, it's still intuitive.

My favourite is Rachael, and I've known several who spell it that way. Rachel is good too, but not Raechel.

Rachel is classic, chic, and straightforward. The other spellings look like they are trying to make a classic name 'newly cool.'

I was very torn between Rachael and Rachel, as growing up I always preferred the “ae”, but now I feel like my preference has shifted to the classic Rachel.
