    Thoughts on Enid?

What do you guys think of Enid? I particularly like the meaning, it’s Welsh meaning soul or spirit. Enid is also a Celtic goddess and Authurian legend name. Let me know why you like it or why you don’t, I’m still forming my opinion.

I like that it's an old name that isn't commonly heard.
I find the sound of it too abrupt however

I never heard it before but I love it so much. I vote yes. The meaning is also pretty and special.

Oh, I love it! I love it for all the reasons you mentioned. Also it's short, nickname proof, recognisable but still fresh and unexpected - all pluses for me.

For me it's a no. All the Enids I know are 70 + so it's very dated for my ears.

I love the name, very vintage.

I've only recognized the name with "The Walking Dead" tv show.

It's a fine name, but stylistically it still sounds very dated and stodgy to my ear.

Enid is one of my all time favorites, thanks to the Arthurian/Celtic background and it's meaning. It's uniqueness is a plus-I'd love to meet a little Enid in a sea of Evelyns and Ellies.

I've never thought of it before, and I have to say I quite like it. It gives me the same vibe as Edith and Judith, and I adore them
