    Uncommon, Vintage Sounding Names

I’m pregnant with our first at the moment and we already have a name picked out for either gender, so I’m just dreaming about future siblings for little and I’m having a really hard time on the boys side! I’m looking for boy names that would go well with Emerald and July (b). To me, those names have an elegant, late 1800s-1930s feel, so that’s the vibe we’d be going for. Since they’re both word names, might as well keep going with that, but it’s not a requirement by any means. Preferably no color, gem, or month names. Our last name ends with an -ee sound and also has prominent T and OR sounds in it, so would like to avoid repetition of those sounds and definitely no names ending with the -ee sound. Also would prefer them to be out of the US top 1000 or very close to the bottom. Middle name would likely be Auden for my FIL.

Marlowe and Harvest are the only boy names we’ve been able to come up with in addition to July.

Some other girl names we like for more naming style inspiration are:
    Maxine
    Vesper/Hesper
    Twila
    Fable
    Verity
    Jessamy
    Lilac
    Salem
    Clover
Zara (too popular, but love otherwise)
    Leda
    Hera
    Boheme
    Amaryllis
    Vale
    Frida (a bit too popular)

Thank you all for suggesting names!

@ceryle Merritt is exactly what I’m looking for! When I read it I thought, “Yes! That’s it!” I then sadly remembered that it counts veryyy similar to our last name, to the point it’s unusable for us
    Surprise!
