    Peter, Jonah, or Reed

These are my final three names (I think!). Which do you like a why? Our last name is something similar to Sustan.

My favorite is Jonah! I've always had a soft spot for this name and I think it sounds strong but gentle at the same time. Plus, I like the meaning and biblical story. I also like the nicknames JoJo, Jones etc.
I think it sounds the best with your last name as well.

Jonah, then Reed. Agree with previous posters that Jonah nicely balances strength and softness. It's biblical and familiar without sounding common or dated.

I like the nature connection in Reed. It's simple and approachable.

Peter is wonderful - timeless, handsome, not too popular. Loads of great namesakes, too. Jonah or Reed do nothing to me.

    Hi there.

    Here are my thoughts:

Peter-I like this name a lot. It's a charming classic. It's well known, but not terribly over done. My favorite from your list.

Jonah-This is cute. It's a bit popular, but a nice name. It's maybe not as good w/your ln, but it's not bad at all.

Reed-This is okay. It just sounds a little bland to me.

    Hope this helps.

I love both Peter and Jonah for you! Reed is more unexpected, and I love the timeless, classic feel of both Peter and Jonah in comparison. I would put my vote on Jonah first, because Jonah "Sustan" has such a nice flow. It's also softer than Peter, and I love when boy names manage to both be soft but still a little rough-and-tumble like Jonah. Peter would be my runner up, Peter "Sustan" sounds like such a strong little boy.

Reed would make a super cute middle name for either though! Jonah Reed "Sustan" and Peter Reed "Sustan" both sound amazing!

I'm a big Peter fan. It's charming, classic and familiar, and it's almost imposible to misspelling (Reed is, even Jonah).

Jonah is my favorite! Peter would be my second choice. I like Reed too, though.
