    Thoughts on Lake

What do you think of Lake? Is it usable as a first name? Do you know any full names for Lake? I can only think of Lakelyn, Laken.

    Blakely
    Blakesley
    Laken
Laketia and Lakeisha but I have no idea how they're pronounced though

I think Lake is really nice and usable, I think I would just use Lake as a full name

Lake is a beautiful name! In my opinion, you don't need a full name for it, but Blake is an interesting choice.

I have a difficult time imagining it as a name on a real person. It is a word that is used so often in conversation that an actual lake would be the first thing that would comes to mind, not a person, as in Lake (Lastname) ) so I would avoid it. Sorry, but the suggestions like Blake would be a much better choice, IMO.

I like Lake fine on its own, but not a fan of any of the long versions.

I like Lake. The only long name I can think of for it is Lucretia--which I think is really pretty and definitely uncommon. I also like Lark.

I’m not usually a ‘word name’ person but I like Lake, it has such a tranquil, calm vibe to it. I suspect it maybe depends on the last name you’re pairing it with, but then doesn’t every name really?
