    I adore Oliver, feel neutral about Joseph. Oliver David is very handsome. All the combos would work for a baby through an adult. Nothing negative jumps out.

    I prefer Oliver. It feels versatile and straightforward. Oliver Joseph is my favourite combo. I'd expect an Oliver to be anywhere between 0 and 30 tbh

    Oliver is definitely my favourite and Oliver Joseph is very handsome. I think it may depend on where you live, but often Joseph morphs into Joe, which I think lacks excitement or spunkiness.

    Both names are really meaningful to me. I had Joseph Oliver (Rodric) on my signature for quite a long time. I agree Oliver Joseph may sounds more like a "XXI century boy", but I guess it's also quite a popular name (still one of my favorites). I think Joseph is a really underrated name. It's soft but firm, familiar but not that common nowadays on boys under 20. And it also has a lot of good nicknames beyond Joe: Joss/Josh, Josie, Seph, Jo, Pep/Peppe, Ossie, Joey...

    So, to sum up: my vote goes to Joseph Oliver.

    I think they're both nice, classic names, and I can't think of any negative connotations with those combos. I like Oliver Joseph the most. I prefer Oliver as a first name since I think Joseph was a bit overused in the past and so it seems less distinctive.

    Both names are timeless to me and suit both a child and adult and whilst I don’t mind Joseph (Joey is a cute nickname), I much prefer Oliver. I’ve always thought it a beautiful sounding and looking name, and I love Oli as a nickname for it. Oliver Joseph is great!

    These are both lively classic names but I’m going to go against the grain here and say I love Joseph, nn Jo, Joey or Joss ❤️ The popularity of Oliver puts me off a bit and I think of someone young when I hear Oliver but think Joseph could suit any age.
    I like the sound of Joseph Oliver or Joseph Edward (Jed).
    If I was going to go with Oliver I’d personally avoid a J middle name as you get OJ but that’s just me!
    Really they are both great choices though so good luck choosing!
