Name for a Victorian British fiddler boy

Name is needed for a musically gifted street kid in a story set in the Victorian era.

Currently I'm thinking: Jamie,Thomas/Tommy, Oscar, Freddie, Joey, Peter,

It would be very helpful if you can recommend surnames too. Thank you!

I like the idea for “little scamp” names for him, if that makes sense? Something that sounds rough and tumble but still classy. I think Jamie, Oscar, and Freddie fit this best from your list.

    Other ideas:
    Frankie
    Hugo
    Eli
    Ellis
    Morgan
    Zach
    Jules
    Lucas
    Rory

Last names are hard because it’s more difficult to associate them with specific character traits than first names (at least for me). My recommendation has always been to look at the roster of your favorite sports team (or if you don’t follow sports, maybe the local sports team or cast list of your favorite musical, ballet, movie, TV show, etc.). Some ideas off the top of my head:
    Hadley
    Christianson
    Edwards
    Stewart
    Quincy
    Fisher
    Clarke
    Bailey
    Lawrence
    Kingsley
    Pierce
