    Honour names for Gaye?

    Hi all,

I want to honour a family member called Gaye but I don't think it a usable name anymore. Any vintage but not outdated names to honour Gaye. They can be be more modern but I prefer vintage. I don't want to use Faye because it is my cousins middle name and I don't like Gail. Help would be greatly appreciated. Do you think Gaye is usable as a middle name still or not?

I think it could probably still be used but some others could be:

Any name that means happy/joyful (from the meaning):
    Joy, Merry, Felicity, Beatrice, Blythe

    Something similar in sound/appearance:
Grace, Mae, Gray/Grae, Kaye, Jaye, Gaia/Gaya, Aya

Some vintage names beginning with G that could maybe work
    Gillian, Greta, Gwen
    Grace
    Sarai Matilda|Cherith Eliza|Sholto Felix|Tristan Rafferty
    Una Adele|Mabli Charlotte|Percy Evander|Otto Elias
    Cleo Tallulah|Lois Aurelia|Jesse Peregrine|Bram Atticus
    Maeve Emily|Sloane Felicity|Linus Theodore|Jude Amadeus

If not Gail, how about Abigail?

I think your best bets are Abigail, Gray, or something like Joy or Blythe.

Is the birth month of the Gaye you would like to honour useable, the birthstone, or the flower of that month? Perhaps January, May, June, Rose, Sapphire, Ruby......
