Are Sadie and Sylvie too similar for Siblings?

    Hello!

My husband and I have recently found out our 4th baby is a girl and we are struggling for ideas for girl names. We have A daughter Sadie, and two boys Jarvis and Percy.
I really love Sylvie and Maisie but am concerned they are too similar to Sadie. I also like Audrey but hubby has vetoed that.
I would love some input about these ideas and other potential names/middle names.

    Thanks!

I think they are a bit too close, considering they both begin with 'S' and end with the same sound. Do you like Sylvia (nn Sylvie)? Or maybe Sylvana/Silvana?

    Other suggestions:
    Simone
    Elodie
    Poppy
    Ivy
    Colette
    Daphne
    Hattie
    Mae/May
    Ophelia
    Cecilia
    Zoey.

    Girls
Caterina Lisette - Amaris Beatriz - Lettie Francesca
Noemi Selene - Audrey Talitha - Adriana Capri

    Boys
Lando Prosper - Wolf Ignacio - Damien Alexei
Jules Gideon - Eliseo Andres - Raphael Santiago

I do think they are too matchy unfortunately. I think you can still use another name ending in -ie and have it work, but the rest of the sound parts need to be fairly distinct from Sadie. Both Sylvie and Maisie are a touch too close, though Maisie not as dramatically so.
Some good examples above were Elodie and
    Hattie.

I was hoping they were more cute matchy matchy rather than too matchy lol.
I do love the suggestions of Elodie and Ophelia though I will run them by hubby. I also had Harriet on the list but hubby said no.
It is so hard to pick names the further you get along because the more kids you know 😂.

Sadie and Sylvie are a bit too close for me personally, though I think Sadie and Sylvia could work. I also think Maisie is usuable, as they are similar but not confusingly so.

    Hi there.

I love Sadie, but do think that Sylvie & Maisie are both kind of similar. They are great names though. Lets see what else might work...

    Audra

    Cora

Elsie....maybe as a nn for Elizabeth or Elspeth

    Evie....maybe as a nn for Eve/Eva/Genevieve

    Franny/Francie...as a nn for Frances

Greta nn Gerty . Although Gerty & Percy may be too close.

    Georgia nn Gigi or Georgie

    Hattie

    Holly

    Ivy

    Imogen/Imee/Idgie/Ginny/Minnie

    June/Junie

    Katherine/Kit/Kitty

    Kathleen/Kit/Kitty

    Lucy

Lola....maybe as a nn for Louisa

Maggie as a nn for Margaret or Magnolia

    Margot

Minnie as a nn for Millicent?

    Millie...as a nn for Matilda/Camille/Camilla/Emilia

    Mara

    Molly

    Nellie-as a nn for Ellen/Eleanor/Eleanora/Penelope

    Olive/Livy

    Penelope/Penny/Polly/Poppy

    Phoebe

    Rose/Rosie

    Ruth/Ruthie

    Tess(a)

    Vivian/Vivie...or Genevieve nn Vivie

    Wynn/Wynnie

    Hope this helps.
