    Emily too similar to Aimee??

Are names Emily and Aimee too close for sisters, or could we just about get away with it?! Opinions please :-)

I don't think the names are too similar. They share some sounds, but are still distinctive.

Also Liking: OONA MUIRGHEAL * Siobhan Brigid * Cassandra Niamh * Miranda Kate *

They sound harmonious to me! I think they would be lovely for sisters; there is a similar feeling and sound "palette" to them, but they don't sound the same.

They're lovely for sisters, imo. I adore Aimee, it's so underused! Wish I could use it, but MIL beat me to it about 30+ years ago, lol. Emily & Aimee sound perfectly well paired, I find. A little more 1980s/1990s if you're in North America, I suppose, but there's nothing wrong with that!!

I think you can get away with it. They be a little matchy for my own use, at least as first names, but I wouldn't think twice about hearing them together.

I wouldn't bat an eye if I met sisters named Emily and Aimee. A bit matchy for my own taste, but I have met siblings with much, much closer names.
