    WDYT of my signature?

    Hello,

I have recently updated my signature and was wondering if I could get the opinions of others. I understand that naming styles are subjective and some people may love a name that others hate, but regardless I would still like to hear what y’all have to say.

What would you consider my naming style? Are there any outliers in my lists?

What do you think of the combos I currently have? Can you think of any new suggestions or ways to improve my current ones?

I would also love to hear any new name suggestions that fit my style (or even those that don’t!)!

I always love hearing from you guys, so thank you in advance for any responses! XX

    Hi there.

    Here are my thoughts:

Rose Pieternella “Rosie” -Rose is a beautiful classic. It's ultra feminine, yet sophisticated at the same time. And Rosie is super sweet as a nn. I'm not familiar with the mn. Is it a family name?

Savannah Juliet “Savvy J”-Meh, I don't care much for Savannah. It seems trendy, & dated trendy. Savvy J sounds like a rapper. Could you do the nn Sadie? Or Sally? Those are more classic. Anna or Annie work too.

Laela Naomi -I think that 'lay-luh' Naomi has a nice flow, even though Layla is a little over done. I would spell it Layla. That's the most self explanatory.

Amelia-It's my cat's name, so I love it of course. It's like Rose; very girly yet has a smart sophisticated feel as well.

Bryony-I'm not sure why I can't get into this one. It just reminds me of the boy name Bryan, which is meh.

Darcy-Hm, this is not my style. It's like almost too masculine for a boy & too feminine for a girl.

Emilia-This is lovely too. I prefer Amelia though, & I wonder if Emilias getting mistaken for Amelias often.

Elsie-So so cute & classic. I like it better for a nn, however. Elspeth, Elizabeth or Elsa nn Elsie are all great.

Holly-I like this a lot. It's a pretty flower name, which is simple yet not too over done.

Isla-I really like this, but I'm getting just tired of it.

Julia-This is fine. I don't love it, but it's perfectly nice.

Katherine-Same as above, but I love the nns Kit & Kitty.

Lila-This is good. I like it a bit more than Layla & Isla. Not real reason why.

    Lucy-Such a sweet classic name.

Mae-I like the simplicity of this a lot.

Maeve-This is even better! Smart, feminine & fairly unique yet not complicated.

Nora-Another smart & pretty name. I do hear it a ton though, if popularity bothers you.

Olivia-Way popular, but very nice. I'm in love w/the nn Livy.

Sophia-This is fine. Way over done; I prefer Sofia for some reason. It looks sleeker.

Summer-This is cool. Has a very care free vibe to it.

Violet -So cute. Has a very pretty & cheerful vibe.

Caleb John -This is fine. It doesn't sparkle, but it's not bad.

Judah SamuelJude”-Usually I don't love Judah, but this is a handsome combo & I do adore Jude.

Wyatt Moses-Ooh, another handsome combo. Sounds like a cool cowboy.

Aaron-This is nice. Not amazing, but fine.

    Benjamin-Handsome classic. Pretty popular.

Bentley-Meh, I'd stick w/Benjamin orBennett. Bentley seems trendy.

    Brantley-Not loving this either.

    Clayton-This is nice.

Elijah-Really popular, but a good solid name.

Grayson-A little trendy. I don't care for this.

Jacob-Obviously way popular, but a great name.

Logan-Way popular, but not that great in my opinion.

Mason-Same as above. Just trendy & over done.

Matthew-I love Matthew. It has such a handsome yet soft sound.

Noah-Very common, but a good name.

Samuel-I love this. It's like a wise old man name, but in a good way! And a little Sam is friendly & energetic.

William -Lots & lots of these running around, but a nice classic.

    Hope this helps.

I'd consider your name style to be familiar with a twist. Modern but well established

Rose Pieternella - Rose is sweet, simple and classic. Pieternella is bold but i believe it's a family name for you? It fits well with Rose as they balance each other out. Rosie is cute!!

Savannah Juliet - Savannah is so fun and funky! Juliet flows well and Savvy J is a cute nn!

Laela Naomi - i like the sounds of this though the Laela spelling throws me a bit. Layla or Leila look better imo.

Caleb John -simple, classic and strong

Judah Samuel -love this!! Judah and Samuel just fit together so well

Wyatt Moses -this fits well with your signature though im not a fan of Moses. Wyatt Josiah?

Brantley -i find the sounds awkward
Clayton -nms, but i do enjoy the sounds and feel!
Elijah -love the flow of this! It's soft but strong
Grayson -i like the modern yet classic feel!

    Thank you @michellem and @greyblue!

Yes Pieternella is a family name and incredibly difficult to pair with a first name!! It’s pronounced Pete-uh-Nell-uh. I have struggled to find a first name that I love that flows with it however am loving Rose Pieternella so I’m glad both of you like it too!

Savannah is my favourite girls name and has been for a while. It seems to be a hit or miss with each person. Juliet is to honour my mother Julie. Savvy J sounds cute to me but I would probably just use Savvy. I do like the suggestion of Sadie though!

Caleb is my favourite boys name and John honours my grandfather and dad. I agree that it may be a little on the boring side though.

I really liked the suggestion of Wyatt Josiah so thank you .

I like Eva, Skye, Sophie and Daniel however either myself or my siblings have close friends with those names! Ivy is very sweet though and I quite like Nolan and Leo.
