    Opinions on 2 shortlisted names

We love these names, but unsure how others will see them. Maybe difficult, challenging or strange?

    Name 1: Evodio

    Name 2: Levante

    Or the fallback is Gabriele

    Comments or opinions please!!

Evodio- Is this pronounce Ee-vo-dee-oh? If so, I don’t really like it a lot. It kind of reminds me of someone saying avoid in a really weird way.

Levante- I actually like. It’s pronounced like lee-vahn-tay, right? Or is it leh-vahn-tay? I like both pronunciations.

Gabriele- I prefer Gabrielle just because it seems more... full(?) to me. This is great too though.

But if you truly like a name, you shouldn’t not use it just because someone else might have a hard time spelling or pronouncing it. If they really cared, they would learn.

Levante has a cool sound. Not as big a fan of Evodio.

While I think of both as pretty straightforward, I have a feeling Levante would be the least "challenging" of the two for others. I don't think you need to use Gabriele as a fallback, but I do think it would make a nice middle for either name!

Personally I'm drawn to Evodio but I think Levante has a more familiar and accessible quality.
