    How do you pronounce Yasmin? I instinctively say "Yaz-meen". I think that's very pretty. If you pronounce it like Jasmine with a Y -- "yaz-min" then I prefer Jasmin (also prefer Jasmine spelling).

    Depends on what way you pronounce them. Yasmin pronounced yass-meen is one of my favourite Arabic/Persian girl's names. I don't really care for the Anglicised YAZ-min pronunciation though.

    Jasmin is nice, though I do prefer the Jasmine spelling.

    I prefer Yasmin. Jasmin feels too common me, while Yasmin is familiar but still has a flare of the exotic.
