    Sister to/thoughts on Leona

I liked the ñame Leona a few years ago and thought the nn Leo was cute. I’m not as in love with the Leo nn any more, however I’m still interested in Leona because it’s a family name. I was wondering a few things:

What other names do you associate with having a similar vibe/style as Leona? What would be good names for a sister?

And what do you think of the nn Leonie?

Veda is definitely on my list so glad to hear it fits. Also I like the suggestion of Rosemary nn Romy! Margot is also on my list and I like Sylvie as well.

I LOVE Leona! I don't know why it's not more popular, considering the modern love of L names and the popularity of Fiona. I personally like the nickname Lea/Lia. Leonie is a perfectly lovely nickname too.

I'm not great with coming up with names that have similar vibes as other names because I think that tends to vary person to person. (Most of the names the other posters mentioned have totally different vibes for me than Leona does.) But I think of Leona as sophisticated, edgy, and elegant!
