    I say bree-sah.
For some reason I keep hearing "barista" when I say it in my head, but I like the nickname Bree.

I would pronounce the name 'BRIS-ah' and I imagine that would be the majority of Australians.

Just going off your signature I would suggest Brisa Murphy or Brisa Eulalie. Names ending in "a" or with an "s" sound don't flow as nicely, which is a shame because that rules out a lot.

I'm not sure how you would pronounce it. However, the first thing I saw was "bris", which is the circumcision ceremony for baby boys in Judaism.

I know a Brisa (US) and she pronounces it BRIS-ah. The i is like the I in iguana. She is a pretty, nice, friendly, intelligent woman, so I have a positive association with the name!

Brisa is too close to Bris!

The main element of a BRIS–also called a brit milah–is the removal of the foreskin from an eight-day-old baby boy's penis. But a Bris is actually more... It's a Jewish ritual.
