    Sister for Emilia Grace

    Hi,
I have a daughter Emilia GraceEmmy’ and I’m looking for another girl name that goes with it. Last name Camden. I love Emilia’s name, however there do seem to be a lot of Emmy/Amelia names out there, so this time i’m wanting to find something a little less popular. My favorites so far are Clara Elisabeth (I like the flow of Clara Camden), Evangeline Jane, Sunny Isabella, Bryony June. I am slightly hesitant about some of them because they are a little different. Also, though I love the names like Evangeline, I am not very religious, and not sure if that one has too much of a religious undertone, especially considering I’ve already used Grace. Other suggestions also welcome too! Thank you.

Of your choices, i really like:
Clara Elisabeth (soft, sweet and classic)
Bryony June (distinctive, floral and fresh, nn Bee or Bonnie would be cute with Emmy)

With Emilia 'Emmy' Grace, I'll suggest

    Susannah Claire 'Sunny'
    Lydia June
    Carys Elizabeth
    Rosemary Jane 'Rosie' 'Romy'
    Florence Eliza 'Flossie' 'Flora'
    Phoebe June
    Anya Elisabeth
    Josephine Lucy 'Josie' 'Posy' 'Joni'
    Juliet Clara 'Etta' 'Jet' 'Julie'
    Eloise Jane 'Lula' 'Lulu'
    Annabel Clara 'Annie' 'Abby' 'Bell'
    Arabella Jane
    Grace

I think Clara is a lovely choice with Emilia and it goes well with your last name. (You could even call her CC if you wanted!) I do agree that Evangeline suggests a religious undertone, so I'd avoid that name if you're not very religious. Clara Elisabeth is wonderful.

-Ooo I love Bryony June, that is so lovely!
-I think Evangeline and Clara go best with Emilia.
-I can see what you mean about Evangeline having a religious undertone but I wouldn't worry too much if it's the name you really love!
-I do love Sunny Isabella but worry it doesn't feel as substantial next to Emilia.
-I think my vote goes to Clara in the end! All great choices though

    Hi there.

Here are my thoughts on your list:

Clara Elisabeth-This is beautiful. Clara Elisabeth Camden does have a nice flow, & I quite like Clara & Emilia for sisters. Clara is getting a little more popular these days, but it's not too bad. It's a classic either way.

Evangeline Jane-I do think that Evangeline sounds very religious. It's not my personal style, plus Emmy & Evie (Evie may come naturally, even if you don't plan on it) are too close for sisters.

Sunny Isabella-This is cute. What do you think of Susanna nn Sunny? Emilia & Susanna nn Emmy & Sunny are just about perfect. I suppose you could do Susan or Suzanne too if you like those better.

Bryony June-I want to like this name, but just can't get into it. It just reminds me of the boy name, Bryan, w/an 'ee' at the end, & sounds weird. I appreciate that it's different though. I like Briar more as a similar suggestion.

    Other suggestions:

    Annabelle

    Alice

    Azalea

    Briar

    Beatrice/Bea/Bess/Bette

    Cora

    Coraline/Cora

Daisy...maybe Dorothy or Dorothea nn Daisy

    Eloise

    Felicity/Fliss

    Georgia/Georgie/Gigi

    Georgina/Georgie/Gigi

    Georgiana/Georgie/Gigi

Gwyneth/Gwen...or Gigi! I also love Gwendolen, but Gwyneth is nicer w/Camden in my opinion.

    Gloria/Gigi

    Harriet/Hattie

    Holly

    Isolde/Izzy

    Indigo/Idgie

    Juniper/Junie

    Louisa/Lulu/Lula/Lola

    Louise/Lulu

    Magnolia/Maggie

    Phoebe

    Pearl

    Rose/Rosie

    Rosalie

    Sylvia/Sylvie

    Tessa/Tess

    Violet

    Hope this helps.

If moving June to the first spot is an option that would be my first choice. Or Junia with Emmy is sweet. I also love the suggestion Olivia (Liv or Livy).

I also like Clara Elisabeth best of the names you've suggested, but I love @michellem's suggestion of Cora (or Coraline/Coralie). I do feel like Clara is rising in popularity so if you're trying to avoid that this time around then Cora seems similar enough yet not as common. I think Emilia Grace and Cora Elisabeth go well together.
