    Sister for Rosamund and Marcella!

We have Rosamund (Rosie) and Marcella (Marcie). What girls name will match? We like names that have easy nicknames.

The only other name we are considering are: Fiona (Fi/Fig)
Names I like that my husband vetoed: Georgiana (Georgie), Josephine (Jo), Miriam

    Thank you!

    Hi there.

Rosamund & Marcella have such a beautiful, strong feminine style. It's too bad that your dh shot down Georgiana; it's perfect! I quite like Josephine & Miriam too. What about Josephina? The only problem w/Josephine/a is that the nn Josie (which may be hard to avoid) rhymes w/Rosie.

I *love* Fiona. It's my sweet doggy's name, so I'm a bit biased. Fiona nn Nonie is always an option. We usually call the pup Feefs or Feefers, but maybe that's not as great for a human child.

    Other suggestions:

    Adora

    Bianca

From your list of vetoed names I liked Josephine the best.

I think michellem gave some great suggestions, I especially like Gwendolen and Eleanora (I think Eleanor would be lovely too)

    Some other suggestions
    Lucinda
    Coraline
    Beatrice

    What about Philipa nickname Pippa?

I feel like Rosalind and Marcella are so worldly and adventurous, and while I like Fiona and adore Fig as a unique and adorable nickname I feel like it falls short of the majestic/royal feeling her big sisters names bring.

I have a Matilda (Tilly), Josephine (Effie/Jo,but usually just Josephine), and Rosamund (Rosie) , so naturally I'm partial to Josephine. Our Jo was very nearly Helena (Nell/Nellie) or Margot. Also considered Eloise (El, Lou,Lulu), Astrid, Beatrice(Bea, Trixie), Alice, and Louisa (Lou/Lulu).

ETA: Josehine and Rosamund are twins and people do call her Josie sometimes. It's not a name I particularly like, but I try not to make a big deal about it. I don't know if that is mostly because she is a twin and they are always together at this point (17mo) or if it will continue as they get older and separate more.
